What's all the "Woof" about?

~ Stacy, both Joy and I want to thank you for your help with Miley, our new Lab. Your insight and teaching have been so helpful with us and our children in dealing with a young female lab. I believe it has helped us transition her into our family quicker and with less stress on her and us! We look forward to our sessions with you and find them fun, helpful, and informative. Miley is a fan of yours; and so are we. We believe this was money well spent and we look forward to working with you in the future.

~ Stacy is an excellent trainer. Cosmo and Murphy get so excited when they see her. She worked well with our dogs during training. Stacy is great with our dogs. Alec, her beagle, also helped with training and got along great with them too! Stacy truly loves animals. She is very reliable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend Stacy as a dog trainer. She is great!!!

~ We have a very energetic Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Riley, that pulled hard on his leash and jumped and barked excessively when the doorbell rang. Stacy showed us how to work with him to overcome these behaviors. He now walks calmly next to us when we walk him (Major Improvement) and, though we're still working with him, he is easier to control when the doorbell rings. She also gave us tips on how to curb his barking whenever he sees anything pass the front window. Again, we're still working on it, but with results. Stacy has an incredible, gentle and warm way with animals and is there, not only to work with the animals, but with the owners as well. We needed to know what to do just as much as our pet. I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their pet's behavior.

~ After Niko was bit by a Pit Bull over 2 years ago, we had to really consider giving him away or putting him down, due to his behavior changes. Upon recommendation from our Veternarian we called you. After the 2nd visit of training you modified Niko's behavior. We can now enjoy our loveable dog and are confident that he will not attack other dogs when they are around. We were also happy to learn how to get Niko to stop taking food from everywhere. Thanks so much for your easy teaching methods, and the easiness you have in working with animals. Susie and I truly appreciate you and would recommend you to anyone that has an animal behavior problem. We are so glad we took Dr. Tucker's advice and even more, we are glad you gave us back our dog.

~ Rick and I are truly so grateful for your expertise training of our new German Shepherd dog, Duke. After being the owners of a small beagle for 16 yrs and his loss in May 2007. September 2007, we decided to rescue a 6 month old german shepherd and had no idea of how to train an inside "BIG" dog. Duke is now 1 yr old and approximately 110+ lbs and with Stacy's training, we have adapted successfully! Duke is still being crate trained during the day as he's got a lot of "puppy" in him yet! Stacy has a love for animals and they feel her love and calmness in her training methods. Duke does very well now with sit, stay, down, come and leash trained for walking. Stacy's beagle, Alec also helped on a few training sessions for socializing and they're so cute together (little dog/big dog!). Stacy and Alec will be pet sitting for us when we take a vacation and we feel very comfortable with her here as we feel like we've known her a very long time. We know Duke will have the best of care and have all of her love and tenderness. We would highly recommend Stacy & Alec to anyone. She's absolutely wonderful! Rose & Rick & Duke too!

~ Stacy is the best dog sitter I have ever known!  Max loves going to her house and playing with her and her dog, Alec.  Once when I was recovering from surgery, Stacy watched Max for three weeks.  I would choose Stacy to watch Max any day over a kennel or any dog sitter because I know he will be well taken care of.  Max came back to me just as energetic and happy as ever!  She even groomed him just as she would Alec!  Max loves going on long walks with Stacy and Alec.  I feel great that I’ve found such a trustworthy and reliable dog sitter.   Stacy loves animals, and I would highly recommend her services.  Stacy provided a loving, caring, no stress atmosphere for Max, and for that, I think she is the best dog sitter ever!

~ Stacy only lives a short distance from my home. I first noticed her on her daily walks with her Beagle, Alec. She would always stop at my home to pet my black lab, Koda, through the fence.   One day I went outside to meet her.  I immediately recognized her kind nature and love of animals.  I was not surprised when she told me that she was a dog obedience trainer.  We started walking together each day.  Stacy, Alec, Koda and I soon became great friends.

Since then I have asked her on numerous occasions to dog-sit for Koda while I am traveling.  I noticed upon my return that she had not only fed and walked him, but had picked up the waste from the yard.  Everything was always so clean and tidy upon my return.  It meant the world to me.  I knew Koda was in good hands.  I was so amazed at her desire to want to do everything the right way.  She cared about my dog's well-being like it was one of her own.  She is so patient when working with animals.  There is an immediate bond between her and the animals I have seen her with.  I feel so fortunate to have her as part of my life.

~ Eric and I have had Satsu, our Cocker Spaniel, for 5 years now.  When we first adopted her, we ended up traveling more than expected and had to put her in a kennel quite a bit when she was a puppy.  Well, every time we would bring her home, after her kennel stay, we would have to house train her again and it even took her weeks to calm down to her normal temperament.  It finally got to the point that I could not even contemplate putting her in a kennel.  Around this same time, I met Stacy.  Stacy was my co-worker at EDS and with pictures on her desk of her dog, Alec, I knew she was an animal lover.  She was always asking about Satsu and keeping me informed of all of the animal events in the area.  Whenever I mentioned that Eric and I were going to be going out of town, her first thought was to ask about Satsu and she even volunteered to take care of her while we were away.  While in Stacy's care, Satsu kept her normal temperament and did not regress into needing house training again.  I could call Stacy as many times as I needed to check on Satsu and knew that she was having a great time playing with Alec, going on walks, and most importantly for a Cocker Spaniel, receiving love and attention from Stacy!!!

~ My Favorite Pet-Sitter,

I have lots of animals. 2 Macaws (Mardi & Rio), 1 African Grey (Cha Chi), 1 Cockatiel (Razzy) , 2 Yorkies (Wolfie & Taz) and at times I also had 3 Miniature Schnauzers and 1 Umbrella Cockatoo (Pete) in my home.

Stacy has taken care of all of these animals for me at one time or another.  On top of the animals, I trusted her with my home as a house-sitter when I had to go out of town.  She is one of the most dependable and trustworthy people I know.  As an animal caretaker, she can't be topped.  She treats your animals as her own and believe me, her Alec is one spoiled boy!!!

All of my babies love her.  My most timid and shy little dog even let Stacy take him for walks and went with her to have sleep-overs with her and Alec at their place.  It is truly a testament to Stacy's love of animals, I think.  You know how they say that an animal can sense things....Tazzy knows that Stacy is a person he can be comfortable and safe with.

I am so glad to see that Stacy, who has become one of my dearest friends has finally decided to make animals part of her business life.  Now she can love and focus on animals full-time and I think it will be great for all concerned - the animals, the owners and Stacy herself.
