Meet & Greet Consultation
Taking the step to learn about Pawsitive Focus In-Home Dog Training and how it will work for your family, means you have goals for your dog. The initial Meet & Greet consultation lasts about 45 minutes. This time includes an evaluation of your dog’s behavioral issues, obedience needs, and interaction with family members in a familiar territory; your home. You will be asked to describe the behavioral issues you are having
with your dog, such as: nipping (playing with your hands), digging or chewing, house-breaking, and other training needs. Together, we will be able to reach your goals and most importantly get your dog’s focus back on you. Pawsitive Focus offers two In-Home Training programs.

10 Session Advanced Obedience Training
The 10 Session Advanced Obedience Training course is designed to keep your dog’s focus on you through mid-level distractions by utilizing control positions. The Advanced Obedience Training course includes the items listed in the Basic Obedience Training course and also provides the tools to reinforce or proof these positions to ensure your dog's safety and your sanity! This training program allows the ability to consistently set up and reinforce the control positions: sit/stay and down/stay in our training sessions. Sometimes, my clients choose to learn hand signals or how to operate an electronic collar. I encourage our last few sessions to take place at a dog park or some other places which are favorites
with you and your pet.
