Meet & Greet
Taking the
step to learn about Pawsitive Focus, LLC In-Home
Dog Training and how it will work for your
family, means you have goals for your dog. The
initial Meet & Greet consultation lasts about
one hour. These services include a complete
evaluation of your dog’s behavioral issues and
interaction with family members in a familiar
territory; your home. You will be asked to
describe the behavioral issues you are having
with your dog, such as: biting, destructive
digging or chewing, house-breaking, aggression,
and training. Together, we will be able to
reach your goals and most importantly get your
dog’s focus back on you. Pawsitive Focus, LLC
offers two In-Home Training programs. |

train your dog. Your dog will look forward to
learning. The step-by-step instruction and
practice format allows the owner and the dog
alike to learn continuously throughout the five
weeks. Each lesson is approximately an hour in
duration. Getting back to the basics involves
minimal distraction work at your home.

10 Week Advanced
Obedience Training
This 10 week
Advanced Obedience Training course is designed
to keep your dog’s focus on you through
mid-level distractions by utilizing control positions. The Advanced
Obedience Training course includes the items
listed in the Basic Obedience Training course
and also provides the tools to reinforce or proof
these positions to ensure your dog's safety and your sanity! This training program allows the ability to consistently set up and reinforce the control positions: sit/stay and down/stay in our training sessions. Sometimes, my clients choose to learn hand signals or how to operate an electronic collar. Alec, Stacy’s beagle, enjoys these lessons as his job is to distract and teach your dog alongside Stacy. He also likes to socialize! I encourage
our last few sessions to take place at a dog
park or some other places which are favorites
with you and your pet.
